For sensitive information: “I can answer that privately on your phone.”
You can talk quietly. Speak can answer quietly. At night:
“What time is it?” “2:14.”No glowing screen. No waking everyone up.
Touch and hold. The microphones physically disconnect. The light changes. Everyone in the room can see that Speak isn't listening.
Privacy shouldn't require trusting an icon buried in settings. It should be visible.
A conversation can seamlessly move from the room to a personal device. Sensitive subjects don't need to be spoken aloud just because the interaction began with Speak.
You decide what Speak remembers, what it forgets, and what remains private.
